Next-Gen Energy Technology is an Australian-based company which specialises in advanced ternary cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, primarily used in electric vehicles and battery energy storage systems.

Our product, Nickel Cobalt Aluminium (NCA) cells, offers superior safety performance by effectively managing heat dissipation, making them more secure and easier to use than other conventional battery materials. They are also more sustainable and cost-effective due to their lower cobalt content, and have been adopted by automotive giant Tesla.

Next-Gen ET places a high value on minimising environmental impact and promoting sustainability in the energy sector, which is why the company is dedicated to developing materials and technologies that align with these values to meet the increasing global demand for renewable energy and energy storage solutions.

About Us

Strengths

We have made quality our habit. It’s not something that we just strive for – we live by this principle every day.

Next-Gen ET aim to stimulate economic growth in local communities, generating income for businesses and improve quality of life for those communities.

We are striving to add value to Australia's minerals industry and increase the capabilities of the EV battery material industry. By producing high nickel cathode material, we are fuelling economic growth, job creation, and innovation. On a wider scale, we aim to benefit Australia in helping to generate more revenue from its mineral resources and creating new job opportunities.

We aim to help with responsible raw resource extraction and support the transition towards low carbon energy sources.

Additionally, we are committed to innovation, research, and materials development activities in the clean energy sector, that lead to new technologies, products, and services that can power the charge into a more sustainable future.
